Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Endorse (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What the Service does

Endorse helps users request, draft, review, sign, and download reference and recommendation letters. AI is used to generate drafts from information users provide. Endorse is a tool; it is not the author of any letter and does not verify statements. See the Disclaimer.

3. Your responsibilities

  • You must provide accurate information and have the right to share it.
  • If you sign a letter, you are responsible for its truthfulness and content, and you confirm you have authority and any needed consent to provide the reference.
  • You will not use the Service to create false, defamatory, harassing, discriminatory, misleading, or unlawful content, or to impersonate anyone.
  • You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.

4. Payments

Certain features — such as downloading a finished letter — require a one-time payment. Prices are shown before purchase and processed by our payment provider (Stripe). Because a purchased letter is a digital good delivered immediately, payments are generally non-refundable except where required by law or at our discretion.

5. Accounts & termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or misuse the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time and request deletion of your data (see the Privacy Policy).

6. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of the content you submit and of the letters you create. You grant Endorse a limited license to process that content solely to provide the Service. The Endorse name, software, and design are our property.

7. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Endorse disclaims all warranties and is not liable for the content of any letter, for any reliance on a letter, or for indirect or consequential damages. See the Disclaimer for details.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
