Endorse helps people prepare reference and recommendation letters by turning the information a referrer provides into a draft. Endorse does not write references on its own behalf, does not verify the accuracy of any statement, and does not endorse, vouch for, or make any representation about any person who is the subject of a letter.

The signer is solely responsible for the letter

A letter created with Endorse becomes the statement of the person who reviews and signs it (the “referrer”). By signing, the referrer confirms that they have read the letter, that its contents are true and accurate to the best of their knowledge, that the opinions expressed are their own, and that they have the authority and any necessary consent to provide the reference. Endorse is not the author, publisher, or guarantor of any letter.

AI-generated content may contain errors

Drafts are generated using artificial intelligence and may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or invented details. Every draft must be reviewed and corrected by the referrer before signing. Do not sign a letter that contains any statement you cannot personally stand behind.

No professional advice

Endorse does not provide legal, employment, immigration, academic, or other professional advice. Reference letters can carry legal consequences (for example, claims of defamation, negligent misrepresentation, or discrimination). If you are unsure what you can or should write, consult a qualified professional.

No warranty; limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Endorse and its operators are not liable for any decision made in reliance on a letter, for the content of any letter, or for any indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Users are responsible for their own use of the letters they create, send, sign, or rely upon.
